I believe strongly in the importance of printed products with an emphasis on photo albums and wall art. My clients come to me for stunning, unique products that will be passed on for generations. I only source my products from the best professional printers and craftsmen to create exceptional, heirloom wall art and custom designed albums for my families to cherish forever.

The first step of your Lori Mason Photography Experience is to let us get to know you with a pre-consultation.

The Pre-Consultation

The pre-consultation is ideally held at my studio, where you can see firsthand all the beautiful items available for your use during the session. This consultation is important as it allows me to get to know you a little better. This has proven very beneficial when children are involved in a session as they can be a bit shy. Being able to meet them before the session and have them warm up to me a little makes all the difference when it comes to the actual session.

During the consultation, we’ll discuss your expectations, color choices, locations, personalities and more which will allow me to tailor your session to you and make this an unforgettable experience. If you like what you see and would like to book, you’ll be able to sign the contract, schedule your photography experience and pay the deposit at this time.

If you are unable to meet for an in-person consultation, we can schedule a phone call to go over all the details. Contracts and deposits can all be handled online.

Your Photo Session

Maternity sessions may take place in my studio in Solon or at a beautiful outdoor location of your choice. I have a number of favorite locations so no worries if you’re not sure of where you would like to go. The session would last about an hour and may include your partner and siblings. You also have access to my maternity closet, full of beautiful gowns that will make you feel amazing.

All Newborn sessions are held in my photography studio in Solon. Every image you see on my website, social media pages and blog have all been done in studio. Having the ability to control the environment, temperature and lighting, in addition to having everything necessary at my fingertips is so important for a successful newborn session. I do my best to make it as easy as possible for you - I have everything you’ll need for baby’s session here, no need to bring anything but your little one! Please plan on feeding during your time in the studio to ensure baby is full and content. Sessions take 2-3 hours and may include parents and siblings.

I specialize in newborn photography, so the studio was designed with that in mind to ensure a seamless process from start to finish. Everything I use is soft and comfortable on baby’s skin. The newborn closet is routinely being updated with new fabrics, wraps, outfits, hats and more to provide you with unique, one-of-a-kind images. Your comfort is important to me as well. A plush sofa provides you the room to relax while being just steps away from your little one.

CHILDREN/FAMILY - Child milestone or family sessions may take place in my photography studio in Solon, or at an outdoor location of your choice. Examples of milestone sessions would be the “6 month sitter”, “baby’s birthday” or a “cake smash” and everything in between! The session would last about an hour and depending on the type of session, may include siblings, parents and pets. I’ll capture those candid and natural family moments that you’ll treasure forever!

The Viewing & Ordering Appointment

7-10 days after the session your images will be available to see for the first time. You will be provided with a link to a gallery of watermarked images where you are able to select your favorites and build your collection of images.

Alternatively, we can schedule a viewing/ordering appointment at the studio where we will review your unwatermarked images together. The images will be displayed on a gorgeous slideshow where you’ll be able to sit back, relax and relive those special moments. The advantage to an in person viewing appointment is that I can walk you through all the products I offer and show you samples so you can see which ones you’d like to purchase.

I’m here to help you through the entire process; from narrowing down your favorite images, to designing a gorgeous album or wall display, to ordering the perfect heirloom products that will showcase your new artwork in the best way possible. You can pay for your order via my online portal or at the ordering appointment via debit card, credit card, check or cash.

Artwork Delivery

You can look forward to receiving your new artwork 2-3 weeks after you’ve had your viewing/ordering appointment. Specialty items such as albums may take longer.
