Maternity portraits are so incredibly special, capturing an amazing and magical moment in time. Celebrate this significant occasion in one of our beautiful gowns that are available to use during your session. Your maternity photography experience may include children and partners and is best captured between 32-36 weeks of pregnancy.

How soon should I schedule my session?
To give each family the best service possible, I book a limited number of portrait sessions per month. It is recommended that you contact me early in your 2nd trimester to ensure availability.
Where and when should I have my outdoor maternity photo session?
A maternity photo session can take place anywhere you’d like – a park, a beach, a field, your home, anywhere! If you’re not sure where to hold your session, I can make suggestions based on your preferences and goals. Outdoor photo sessions are held just before sunset to ensure beautifully lit portraits.
Do you provide dresses/fabrics/wraps?
Yes. My studio provides a full wardrobe that includes an exquisite selection of beautiful fabrics for draping as well as a collection of stunning gowns.
Can my partner or my child be in the pictures?
Absolutely! Your significant other and children are welcome and encouraged to be a part of this amazing experience.
How do I prepare for the session?
Your maternity session is the perfect reason to splurge on professional hair and makeup. Your beauty and confidence will shine through in your images! However if it’s not in the budget, your going-out-on-a-special-date makeup and hair is fine too. Natural looking fake lashes can really flatter your eyes. Don’t forget about your mani and pedi as well!
What should I wear/bring for my maternity session?
Wear whatever you feel comfortable and confident in. A few suggestions are listed below:
Neutral strapless bra and seamless underwear, this is especially important for under form fitting gowns
Black bra and panty set (for those black background belly shots)
White/ivory bra and panty set (for those white background belly shots)
Lingerie sets
Bandeau top
Regular jeans (not maternity ones) and camisole top
Buttoned shirt or blouse
Long, flowy or form-fitting dress (e.g. tube dress or a summer maxi dress)
Button ups sweater or cardigans
Men’s button ups top (for significant other/husband)
Coordinating outfits (for significant other/husband and/or children)
Any favorite scarves, accessories, jewelry, etc.
If you are interested in doing artistic nudes, please avoid any tight undergarments that would leave marks on your skin
Should I be concerned about stretch marks?
I want you to feel beautiful and relaxed during your photography experience and love your final images. Complete professional retouching is included in your session and I will work with you to understand what, if any, retouching you would like. High-end retouching techniques are used to enhance photos while keeping the image looking real and amazing.
This is my first studio photography experience. Will you guide me and help me pose?
Yes, of course! Even if it is your first professional photography experience, my goal is to make sure you feel comfortable, beautiful, pampered and confident. During your personalized session, I will guide you through elegant poses and will focus on angles that bring out your most beautiful self.
Will my images stay private?
Privacy is taken seriously and your maternity images will not be used in any way without your consent.

I believe portraits should be on your walls and in your hands for all to see and cherish everyday, not on a USB buried in your desk. All products are sourced from the best professional printers and craftsmen to turn your new portraits into the most beautiful, tangible pieces of artwork that will be passed on for generations.
